  • Lakewood Theatre Company is the oldest continuously operating theatre company in the Portland area. Under its non-profit umbrella, activities in art, dance, theatre and community cultural events are housed at the Lakewood Center for the Arts. The Center attracts more than 100,000 people each year to its performances, classes and exhibits.

    The Headlee Mainstage features 220 seats (none further than 35 feet from the stage), a stage house with fly lofts, traps and a telecoil hearing-assisted sound system. Diverse programming includes new works and classics throughout the season.

    Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts

    A major regional arts event created by Lakewood Center for the Arts. Held in June and attracting some 25,000 visitors during the three days of the event, the Festival includes several art exhibits, food booths, music and find art crafts.


    Lakewood Center for the Arts offers a wide range of classes, workshops and master classes in art and performance throughout the year. Our instructors and production directors are professional artists who have demonstrated proficiency in their craft. See details under “Classes” on our website.
