Designing duo Audra Santillo and Nate Moore were inspired to open Workshop Vintage based on their love for collecting and hunting for all things vintage. Along with their devotion for design and architecture, they were compelled to create an environment that they could combine these elements to be shared publicly for others to enjoy. It seemed only natural to offer new locally designed goods along with vintage items for a well rounded lifestyle boutique. As custom-crafters themselves, Nate and Audra both understand the importance of well constructed goods.
“We always love a good story. Vintage and antiques usually have quite interesting backgrounds, whether they belonged to someone special or never made it out of the original warehouse.”
As proven by the uniquely modern and rustic interior of Workshop Vintage’s boutique, Nate’s artistic area of woodworking ranges from smaller geometric shelving to vibrant custom utility pieces – including their brick & mortar’s own “dressing pod” (inspired by Workshop Vintage’s honeycomb shaped logo). With an education and work history in visual design, Audra not only cultivates the visual aesthetic of the Workshop Vintage but also self-produces WSV label leather goods and accessories.
“We appreciate the care and quality that was once a priority in manufacturing.”
